A few photos from my first two days.

A modest hotel with a unique name, and loaded with colour and charm, The Devil and the Watermelon was home for one night before our apartment was available. Recommended.

The city feels the same, the weather never changes, but the street art is always new and surprising.

We could hear the hoop-la from our apartment this afternoon so I had to run out for a look.  The first time I've seen a graduation calenda, a parade, for a crop of freshly-minted Public Accountants.

The class of mezcal-sipping students in cowboy hats looked happy to mark the end of four years of university.

The guy in the white shirt is lighting cohetes to throw up into the air, the deafening firecrackers that no parade can be without.

So nice to be back on these familiar streets!
