A warm hello to all of you who have browsed any of the photos and stories I've loaded onto my Caboose the last few years. A sincere thanks for stopping by and picking up the mail I deliver to your inbox.

It's the pictures I like the most. They're the reason for my Caboose blog. The raison d'ĂȘtre you could say. I haven't forgotten all my French.

Here are a few from our Christmas season that I hope you'll enjoy. Mostly grandchildren. We now have a collection of four entertaining and loveable nietos, Sammy aged 6, Maeve 4, Winnie 4, and Cassidy 6 months, a brother/sister team in both Saskatoon and Vancouver.

Sweet treats abundantly decorated by sweet 4-year olds.

My friend Wendy put this recipe on Facebook and I was inspired. Peppermint Pennies, so easy and tasty and cute, they may become a tradition.

Singing Christmas carols and dancing. Sammy on the ukulele.

And jamming with friends.

Drawing, painting, cutting, glueing in Grandma's Art Room.

Prairie hiking at Wanuskewin Park just north of the city with the Camino de Santiago de Compostela pilgrim group - there really is a Saskatoon Chapter. Refreshments at the bar after the walk make it even more worthwhile.

A great start to a new year in our new home in Saskatoon.

With lots of Gratitude and Appreciation for the many things we can enjoy in the coming year. Cheers and Best Wishes to you all.
