Vanna, Vanna, we’re Fortunate to have these Wheels! She makes for a perfect ménage à trois. Such compact design and efficient use of space. And she’s so cute. She is getting old (1993) but what’s wrong with a few wrinkles? Spare parts are hard to find but we’re doing everything we can to keep her on the road. Maybe Elon Musk will copy her design and reproduce her by the thousands and make parts accessible for us.
She has everything we need: lots of standing room that includes an upstairs pantry shelf, a stove, a fridge, a sink, a closet, a table, and an espresso maker. Everything except a bathroom, but we manage.
She’s a flexible charmer that transforms from a vehicle to a living room with a twirl of both front seats. And then to a kitchen with a clip-on table and a flip-up stove.
And enough room for a few important passengers.
The bedroom is ready with a quick pull-down of the bench and a roll-out of the fitted sheet and quilts. Bookshelves and reading lights and curtains if we need them.
There isn't a lot of room so moves have to be done in the right order or Vanna can cause chaos and marital discord, but when moonlight floods in her windows all is fine. We love you Vanna!
We bought her in 2012 and will be happy if the career of our White VW is as long-lasting as that of the other Vanna White. The hostess of Wheel of Fortune has been there for nearly 40 years!
