I've only had one hibiscus plant in my life and it's a miracle self-healer.

It's been ailing many times, close to death more than once. I removed a handful of diseased leaves only a few weeks ago, yellowed leaves and withered brown-spotted leaves. I talk nicely to it and keep watering. No other treatments.

And look what showed up this morning, calling me for a photo. Happy as a clam.

Blazing yellow today, dark pink last time, depending on its mood.

Tenacious. Tough. Producer of flawless flowers. Mrs. Hibiscus, a self-healer extraordinaire.
